Olga Dmytryeva-Roitenberg, B.Sc., CAT(C), D.O. (Qc), Certified Athletic Therapist & Osteopath

Olga graduated from Concordia University's department of Exercise Science with a specialization in Athletic Therapy (2002). She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from The National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine (1993). Olga is a Certified Athletic Therapist with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association since 2003 and a member of the Association Ostéopathie Québec since 2009.

Olga has completed a 5-year Osteopathy Program at the College d'Etudes Osteopathiques de Montreal (2010). She worked on her thesis, research study, in order to complete her osteopathic studies to receive a  Diploma in Osteopathy (D.O.).

Olga has taken a course on Golf Biomechanics and Rehabilitation of Golf Injuries to better understand golf-related problems.  She has attended numerous workshops, Yoga, Pillates, The Kettlebell, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Effective Return to Sport, Rock tape, Sports Nutrition, Power training.  She has taken courses on Cycling training, Cervical Spine (neck), Lumbar Spine and Pelvis, The Shoulder, The Thorax that included a thorough manual therapy evaluation and normalization of body mechanics improving mobility and re-establishing balance in the body. She regularly receives re-certification in CPR/Basic Life Support. Olga has completed courses in Advanced Pediatrics in Osteopathy, Advanced Cranial Approach in Osteopathy courses (2). She also has participated in webinars Interprofessional Collaboration in the domain of Orthodontics, Osteopathic Care for Runners, Current Recommendations on Physical Activities during Pregnancy 2024, Best Practices in Rotator Cuff Management, Hip-Lumbar Connection. Olga regularly patrticipates in osteopathic manual practice continuing education including Conferences, Courses, Webinars and Workshops. She also regularly patrticipates in athletic therapy continuing education including Conferences, Courses, Webinars and Workshops.

Olga uses athletic therapy (evaluation of injuries, rehabilitation progression, manual therapy, muscle and soft-tissue release, exercise prescription) and osteopathic manual approach (that allows to restore normal structures and body mechanics). She is also convinced patient education and exercise prescription are of utmost importance. Olga believes in a global approach to treating the body for effective return to recreational and competitive activities of athletes.

Olga has 22 years of clinical experience. Olga specializes in sports injuries, neck, shoulder problems, lower back and pelvic dysfunctions, and osteopathic work to improve individual's quality of life and well-being. She also loves working with babies and children.

Over the last twenty two years, Olga has worked with a variety of sports teams including the Lac St. Louis soccer teams (2000-2002), Lakeshore Cougars Football teams (2006), Wimgym gymnastics club (2006-2008), Kirkland Old-Timers Hockey League (2000-2003). She was Head Medical coordinator for the Saint-Laurent Football Association for 3 years (2002-2005). Olga has also provided athletic therapy at various regional and national sporting events including hockey, soccer, track-and-field, karate, rugby, Dragon Boat competition, and equestrian. She has previously worked as Head Therapist with Cirque du Soleil on a special project Soleil de Minuit/Midnight Sun, a special one-night event in Montreal celebrating the 20th anniversary of Cirque du Soleil and the 25th anniversary of the Montreal International Jazz Festival (2004). She continued their collaboration for a few more Research and Development Projects (2005).  Olga has volunteered at swimming, soccer, and hockey competitions. She volunteered at the Pan-American Games in Toronto in 2015 as a member of a medical team of doctors, physiotherapists, athletic therapists, osteopaths,  massage therapists, and chiropractors.

Olga is a former competitive diver. She dove and competed in Ukraine for 12 years (1980-1992) and Pointe-Claire, Canada, for 3 years (1994-1996). She retired in 1996 as a member of the Pointe-Claire diving team. Olga continues maintaining a healthy life style participating in regular recreational activities such as running, cycling, HIIT, and tennis and swimming in the summer.
